Huizhou University 2025 Foreign Teacher Recruitment Notice
Situated in Huizhou, a nationally recognized city of culture and history, as well as a significant node within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Huizhou University is a provincially administered, full-time public undergraduate institution. It serves as the Vice Chairman unit of the National Alliance for Newly Established Undergraduate Institutions, a pilot university for the transformation of regular undergraduate education, and has been approved to grant master's degrees. Adhering to an open policy on education, Huizhou University commits to pursuing an international path in its educational endeavors. To date, it has established over fifty partnerships with universities, industry enterprises, and professional organizations across fourteen countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Ukraine, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, as well as Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan regions.
In line with the university's development needs, we are currently conducting an open recruitment for five foreign teachers. The relevant details are as follows:

(b) Workload
Average of about 14 teaching hours per week, with each semester calculated based on 16 weeks (the specific number of teaching hours is subject to the arrangements of the Teaching School).
(c) Entry Time
Contracts start from February 2025, with a duration of one academic year.
II. Other Recruitment Requirements
(a) Aged between 18 and 60 years old, in good health, and having passed the medical examination.
(b) No criminal record or history of illegal activities.
(c) Comply with all laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, and adhere to professional ethics and conduct norms for teachers.
(d) Possess two or more years of relevant work experience.
(e) Applicants who have obtained a teaching certificate from their home country or recognized international language teaching certificates (such as TEFL, TESOL, etc.) will be preferred.
III. Salary and Benefits
(a) Salary is calculated based on the highest educational qualification. Bachelor’s degree holders receive 240 CNY per teaching hour (before tax), Master’s degree holders receive 270 CNY per teaching hour (before tax), and Doctoral degree holders receive 300 CNY per teaching hour (before tax)).
(b) During the contract term, Huizhou University will purchase comprehensive medical insurance for foreign teachers.
(c) After the completion of a full contract year, Huizhou University will provide the hired foreign teacher a flight subsidy at the beginning of the next semester.
(d) The University provides free on-campus apartments (including free access to the campus network); however, other expenses including utilities are to be borne by the foreign instructors themselves.
